Six months ago, we founded ROOTS & BRIDGES with a simple yet powerful mission:
To enable a hopeful and self-determined future for children in Africa.
Today, for the first time, we can show the impact that has already been created.
Together with local partners in South Africa, Namibia, and Uganda, we have already reached thousands of children. Our projects are not just about short-term aid, but about stable structures that provide children with security, education, and real prospects.
In 2025 alone, we were able to:
- support over 4,000 children daily
- provide 134,000 meals for children
- supervise 3,000 children in Safe Parks, places for security, learning, and community
- support 700 girls with menstrual hygiene products and education
- secure a home for 50 orphans in Uzwelo Home
- promote over 2,000 children in Namibia through educational programs
- enable 200 children in a Ugandan slum to access school
At the heart of our work are the Safe Parks. These are communal places where children can play, learn, eat, and grow. Here, an environment is created that provides stability and gives children the chance to discover their talents and shape their own future.
This impact report shows what becomes possible when people collectively take responsibility. Local social workers, committed partner organizations, and supporters from various countries work together to open up new perspectives for children.
