Make an apprenticeship possible

Education does not end with graduation. But for many young people in rural areas of Africa, this is precisely where a large void begins.

No money for studies. No financial resources for specializations. Little access to practical skills.

And no traditional apprenticeships as we know them in Germany. For many businesses, it is hardly economically feasible to train young people in a structured way. The effort is high, the short-term benefit low. So, training often doesn't happen at all.

What remains is a generation of motivated young people without prospects.

From Safe Park to Self-Employment

Therefore, as part of our Safe Park program, we are specifically building up Finance & Business Education. We not only impart basic knowledge in handling money, entrepreneurship, and responsibility. We create real training opportunities.

For example, as gardeners, as educators/carers, as cooks, or as media designers and videographers. And in all the professional fields that we are developing further together with the local communities.

Our training programs are practice-oriented, needs-based, and closely linked to the real local economy. Young adults not only learn theory. They take responsibility, work in teams, develop skills, and build real competence.

Training Breaks Poverty

Training changes everything.

• It gives young people the ability to earn their own income.
• It strengthens self-worth and personal responsibility.
• It creates skilled workers for the region.
• It stimulates local economic cycles.
• It prevents migration and lack of prospects.

Those who possess practical skills become more independent. A trained young person becomes someone who can create jobs, inspire others, and stabilize families in the long term.

Training does not only affect an individual. It has a multiplying effect in families, communities, and across generations.
